Gazprom’s exports to non-CIS countries for 10.5 months of this year decreased by 43.4% compared to the same period last year – to 93.2 bcm of gas, the company said.
At the same time, Gazprom’s exports to China continue to grow via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline under a bilateral long-term contract between the Russian company and CNPC.
In addition, demand for the company’s gas from the gas transmission system in the domestic market over this period decreased by 5.9%, or 12.3 billion cubic meters.
Last year, the company increased gas exports to non-CIS countries by 5.8 billion cubic meters to 185.1 billion. This was the fourth result in the history of gas supplies.
