In 2021, Gazprom earned $55.507 billion from the export of pipeline gas.
This is almost 2.2 times more than a year earlier, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation reports. The average gas price was $272.8 per a thousand cubic meters.
The volume of gas exports for the year increased by 0.5% compared to 2020, to 203.5 bcm. In December, exports grew by 12.4% in monthly terms, to 16.1 bcm. The export price of gas in the last month of last year was $517.8.
In annual terms, it increased 3.3 times compared to $156.6 in December 2020. Compared to November 2021, the cost of gas increased by 15.8%.
