The volume of oil pumped through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in January-May 2022 amounted to 11 million 780.9 thousand tons, which is 5.9% higher than the same period last year.
According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in January-May 2022, 79.8% of the total volume of oil transported through the main oil pipelines of Azerbaijan was pumped through the BTС oil pipeline.
According to the agency, transit oil pumped through the BTC pipeline for 5 months amounted to 2,01 million tons (an increase of 32%).
