In January-November 2023, “Kaztransoil”, the National Oil Transportation Company of Kazakhstan, increased by 50% the volume of Kazakh oil exports from the port of Aktau.
The export of Kazakh oil from the port of Aktau for 11 months of 2023 amounted to 3 million 62 thousand tons, by 1 million 14 thousand tons, or 50% more compared to the same period last year, the press service of Kaztransoil.
According to the company, this is due to an increase in the volume of raw materials shipped to the port of Baku from 205 thousand tons to 1.238 million tons, by six times more than in the same period of 2022.
In addition, 1.824 million tons of oil were shipped from the port of Aktau towards the port of Makhachkala in 11 months.
