Azerbaijani gas supplies via TANAP amounted to 4 bcm in the first quarter

The volume of transportation of Azerbaijani gas through the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) to Turkey and Europe in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 4.01 bcm,  announced Rovshan Najaf, First Vice President, Acting President of SOCAR.

From the moment TANAP was put into operation and as of April 1, 2022, 26.13 bcm of gas have been transported through this gas pipeline.

In the first quarter of 2022, 4.01 bcm of gas were delivered via the TANAP gas pipeline to the markets of Turkey and Europe,” Najaf wrote on his social media account.

In 2022, the volume of transportation of Azerbaijani gas via TANAP to Turkey and Europe is planned at the level of 16.2 bcm. In 2021, 13.73 bcm of gas were transported through this pipeline. Thus, in 2022, export growth will be 18%.
