Gas exports from Azerbaijan in 2021 amounted to 18.9 bcm, an increase of 39.8% compared to 2020
Approximately 8.5 bcm of gas were supplied to Turkey (a decrease of 23.5%), including 5.6 bcm of gas via the TANAP gas pipeline (an increase of 20.1%), South Caucasus pipeline (Bak-Tbilisi-Erzerum) – 2.8 bcm (2.3 times decrease), a report by the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani gas supplies to Europe amounted to 8.2 bcm, to Georgia – 2.2 bcm (a decrease by 3.9%), for the needs of pumping and compressor stations of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline – 0.1 bcm (a decrease by 6.6%).
