Since the commissioning (November 2006 – Caspian Barrel) of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea until March 1, 2021, a total of 138.2 bcm of natural gas have been produced.
According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, during this time, 93 bcm of gas were exported from the Shah Deniz field.
Based on this information, it can be concluded that during the period under review, 45.2 bcm of gas were supplied from the Shah Deniz field to the domestic market of Azerbaijan. That is, on average, 3.2 bcm annually.
