In 2019 Kazakhstan increased oil production by 1.4% compared to 2018 – up to 78.6 million tons.
This was reported by the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy.
During the reporting period, gas condensate production decreased by 7.4% to 11.9 million tons.
In addition, during the reporting period, Kazakhstan produced 22.2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas (a decrease of 2.2%) and 34.3 bcm of oil associated gas (an increase of 4.5%).
