Deliveries of Azerbaijani gas from the Shah Deniz field to Turkey via the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) from June 2018 to November 25, 2019 amounted to 3.3 bcm, SOCAR said in a statement.

“From the moment TANAP was commissioned in June 2018 and until November 25, 2019, 3.3 bcm of Azerbaijani gas was delivered through this pipeline. From June 2019 to the end of June 2020, gas deliveries through this pipeline are provided in the amount of 4 bcm,” the information says.
According to SOCAR, from the end of June 2020 the annual gas supply through TANAP will amount to 6 bcm for Turkey. In addition, next year Azerbaijan will begin supplying 10 bcm of gas per year to Europe. As reported, in 2018, 916.4 mcm of gas was transported through the TANAP gas pipeline. As the head of SOCAR Turkiye Enerji (Turkish “daughter” of SOCAR) Zaur Gahramanov reported, for 2019 gas supplies through TANAP are provided in the amount of 3 bcm.
