- Direct operations experience either offshore / onshore or as an office-based operations support engineer involved with addressing day-to-day operational issues, appreciation of design deficiencies and implementation of modification projects.
- Understanding, knowledge of and involvement in HAZOP and LOPA, safety instrumented function life cycle and ability to prepare safety instrumented function verification calculations.
- Good appreciation of risk assessment and the application to design decisions, ideally gained in the UK with the key influence of the UK Health and Safety Executive’s approach to safety.
- Worked on projects in gas handling and compression projects.
