Turkmenistan produced more than 80 bcm of natural gas and more than 8 million tons of oil last year, the chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan, Dovletgeldi Amanmuhammadov stated.
By the end of 2023, the industrial sector has registered steady growth. In particular, natural gas production amounted to 80 billion 618.7 mcm, oil – 8 million 316.7 thousand tons, he said at an expanded meeting of the country’s Cabinet of Ministers last Friday, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan TDH reports.
Deputy Prime Minister for Fuel and Energy Batyr Amanov, who spoke at the meeting, said that “the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 106.9 percent, and for the export of “blue fuel” by 112.6 percent”.
