The largest oil fields of Kazakhstan maintain oil production plans for 2024 at last year’s level, inbusiness.kz. reported.
“According to the plans of the companies, consolidated oil production is projected at 88.3 million tons, for three large projects (Tengiz, Karachaganak, Kashagan) production remains at last year’s level,” the response of the Ministry of Energy to the request.
In 2024, Kazakhstan plans to increase oil production to 90.3 million tons of oil from 89.9 million tons in 2023, and exports to about 70.8 million tons from 70.5 million tons. Oil production at the “Tengiz” field in 2023 amounted to 28.9 million tons (630.100 barrels per day), at Kashagan – 18.8 million tons (407.400 barrels), at Karachaganak – 12.1 million tons (259.770 barrels).
