Position: Subsea Workshop Fitter Lead Hand
Minimum 15 years related field experience. At least 5-10 years in equivalent or level down management role.

Subsea Workshop Fitter Lead Hand:
Current Roles & Responsibilities: Primarily, the upcoming period of 3 years will contain major challenges with the SD2 scope related to remediation of 718 bolting materials on 5 off XT’s – these will require completed strip of the XT frame, renoval of major components, changeout of affected studs & gaskets, refititng of major compoments, rebuiild of XT assy prior to FAT level testing and re-integration of controls system. Liaise with key sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out in oine with supporting procedures, safety and quality requirements. Other scope to be supported include the standard scope of requirements to support the SD2 installation and comissioning activities in line with client activity forcast To Supervise the workshop team to ensure that safety and quality standards are maintained inline with project and client requirements.
Team and safety leadership. The position within the organization requires not only an advanced technical understanding of our equipment, tooling and services but also comprehensive knowledge and strong training skills of the products in order to help advance training for our local Azeri subsea workshop fitters onshore on the extensive subsea equipment product range for the ACG & Shah – Deniz 2 subsea projects. Incumbent will be supporting and mentoring Azeri Field Service Team on company’s subsea equipment products and services during his duties onshore. His position he will report to the Project Operations Manager based in the Baku plant. Incumbent has over 20 years of oil & gas industry experience directly with Cameron products and fully qualified trained in all operational aspects of our wide design range of subsea products.
Essential skills:
5 – 10 years experience in a service and/or lead workshop role biased towards mechanical fitting and hydraulic testing of subsea XT’s, TH’s and associated tooling.
Working knowledge of subsea product use and limitations.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
Problem solving ability.
Leadership skills to include ability to motivate colleagues & team members.
PC skills to include, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & SAP knowledge preferable.
Have good foresight, initiative & ability to take accountability for their own actions and the team they are supervising.
