On April 26-27, Turkmenistan will hold an international road show in Dubai to attract foreign investment in the country’s energy sector. The organizers are the state concerns “Turkmengas” and “Turkmennebit” and “Turkmengeology”.
The focus of the upcoming event will be on attracting investment in the development of offshore blocks No. 21 and No. 23, as well as “Western Cheleken”, optimization of production at mature fields and development of the next stage of the giant “Galkynysh” gas field, which has the second largest gas reserves in the world.
“The country has a lot to offer, from hosting the world’s largest onshore gas field to world-class environmental conditions for the development of solar and wind energy,” the organizers’ website says.
In addition, during the road show, opportunities related to the transportation and processing of oil and gas will be considered. Leading national and international energy companies are expected to take part in the event.
