Azerbaijan increased gas exports by 17.4% to 18.2 bcm in January-October 2022, a public statement of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan
According to the information, 9.3 bcm of gas was supplied to Europe in 10 months of this year. Based on the indicators of the Ministry of Energy, the Caspian Barrel Oil Research Center determined that in October Azerbaijan exported 1 bcm of gas to Europe, or an average of 32.25 mcm of gas per day. In general, the average daily gas export of Azerbaijan last month amounted to 61.29 mcm.
According to the results of ten months of this year, the daily volume of gas sales by Azerbaijan in European markets amounted to 30.6 mcm.
According to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 6.9 bcm of Azerbaijani gas (38% of all exports) were exported to Turkey, and 2 bcm of gas (11% of all exports) to Georgia. It should be noted that in 2021 Azerbaijan exported 19 bcm of gas.
At the same time, about 8.2 bcm of this volume fell on Europe. In 2022, gas exports are projected at 22 bcm, of which 11.5 bcm should be exported to Europe.
