According to the results of January-September 2022, the export volumes of Azerbaijani gas amounted to 16.3 bcm, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan reported.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan increased gas exports by 22.6% compared to January-September last year. The geography of Azerbaijani gas exports was as follows: Europe – 8.3 bcm, Turkey – 6.1 bcm, Georgia – 1.9 bcm.
According to the data, following the results of 9 months of this year, 50.9% of the export supplies of Azerbaijani gas fell on European markets.
Azerbaijan exported 19 bcm of gas in 2021, of which 8.15 bcm were sold in Europe. For 2022, gas exports are planned at the level of 22 bcm, of which 11.5 bcm – to Europe.
