In January-August 2022, the export of gas volumes from Azerbaijan, declared at customs, amounted to 15 billion 53 million 987.9 thousand cubic meters, by 13.7% higher than the same period of last year.
The income from the export of Azerbaijani gas amounted to $10 billion 317 million 686.45 thousand (an increase of 4.4 times),the State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic.
The share of gas exports in the reporting period accounted for 39.3% of total exports from Azerbaijan.
The largest volume of gas exports fell on Italy – 6 billion 377 million 720.1 thousand cubic meters (42.4% of all supplies) for $7 billion 467 million 706.28 thousand, the Customs Committee.
