In January-July 2022, fuel consumers in Azerbaijan purchased motor gasoline and diesel fuel for a total of 1 billion 526.7 million manats ($898.1 million at the current exchange rate), the monthly report of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Compared to January-July 2021, revenue from the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel to consumers increased by 8.8%, according to the agency. In the total volume of retail trade turnover in Azerbaijan during the reporting period, revenues from sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel amounted to 5.7%.
In 2021, fuel consumers in Azerbaijan purchased motor gasoline and diesel fuel for a total of 2 billion 494.3 million manats ($1.47 billion). At present, the retail price of “Premium Euro-95” gasoline in the domestic market of Azerbaijan is 2 manats per 1 liter, “Super Euro-98” – 2.3 manats per liter, AI-92 – 1 manat per liter, diesel fuel – 0 8 manats per liter.
