Russian gas exports to non-CIS countries in April 2022 (11.6 bcm) practically repeated the same modest result of January this year (11.4 bcm) due to aggressive volume optimization gas supplies by European importers.

In April, the cost of the market index “one month ahead” was at a record level of $1,400 per thousand cubic meters, in January – $1,300.
Gazprom reported that in January-April 2022 it produced 175.4 bcm of gas. This is  by 2.5% (4.5 bcm) less than in 2021. At the same time, gas exports to non-CIS countries decreased by 26.9% (by 18.4 bcm), amounting to 50.1 bcm. The company’s deliveries to the domestic market also decreased by 3.7% (by 4.4 bcm) due to a milder winter than last year.
