Azerbaijan exported 922.7 thousand tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline in January-November 2021. Such data are contained in the operational report “Central Dispatch Office of the Fuel and Energy Complex” of the Russian Federation.
“According to the system of the Transneft company, oil transit from Azerbaijan to the port of Novorossiysk in January-November 2021 amounted to 922.7 thousand tons of oil. At the same time, 84.76 thousand tons of Azerbaijani oil were exported via this route in November,” noted in the data.
Compared to January-November last year, the volume of Azerbaijani oil exports through Baku-Novorossiysk increased by 74.6%.
According to CDU TEK, Azerbaijan exported 613.29 thousand tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline in 2020. Azerbaijan has been transporting its oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline since 1997.
