Last week, the fourth meeting of the energy ministers of the countries participating in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was held in Baku.
The videoconference was attended by high-ranking representatives of Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, as well as a number of international organizations.
“Over the past three years, about 20.7 million tons of Turkmen oil and oil products have been transported to the world market via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, as well as 106,000 tons of Kazakh oil last year,” Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at the forum.
