The first platform of phases 22 to 24 project at the supergiant South Pars Gas Field will be installed by late May, operator of the project says.
Farhad Izadjou said the structure bracing operation of the platform is 99% complete and it will be ready for installation by late May.
He also said three other platforms belonging to the project are under construction at the yard of the Iran Marine Industrial Company (SADRA), adding construction of platform 24A has made 94.3% progress and will be loaded for installation immediately after completion.
The project is being developed for production of 14 mcm/d of rich gas.
