Job duties:
- Understand and be able to technically support operations departments.
- Prepare equipment selections for service tools operations.
- Review inventory related to the equipment selection.
- Review orders and ensure that the necessary documentation has been included and that the job will meet the customers’ technical needs.
- Provide rig site assistance when necessary and support the customer during “rig call” or “morning meetings” for ongoing jobs.
- Participate in the organization of pre-job operations meetings/job briefs with the Company Representative and Offshore Crew. Ensure that all hardware meets customer design specifications and is physically assembled correctly.
- Be familiar with the company quality management system and assist in the closure of reports.
- Maintain a good knowledge of industry qualification standards, such as NORSOK, ISO and API.
- Travel to well sites and operational bases to gain understanding and experience on assembly and installation of the company’s products.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with sales and marketing team.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings as they pertain to assembly of inflatable and swellable packers or related downhole tools is essential.
- An understanding of oilfield hydraulics.
- Ability successfully complete all relevant offshore certification, this includes but is not limited to, offshore survival training, offshore medical certification, etc.
- Must be able to travel throughout MEC region, Europe and to the US, there will be a requirement to travel at short notice throughout the MEC region for client visits and training.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, MRP or related systems and computer aided graphics package.
- Familiarity with computer networks and email.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Ability to write and speak Russian and English
- University degree required in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Physics.
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience and/or training in oilfield equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Specific experience in packers and/or downhole tools.
- Experience gained in an offshore capacity is preferred.
- Experience in Slick-line, Coil Tubing, Thru-Tubing Inflates, E-line or other well intervention or liner hangers experience is preferred.
