Position title: DSV Construction Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of project scopes and communication of project goals and expectations.
- Build and lead a high-performance team to facilitate successful delivery of the offshore execution
- Provide direction, motivation and leadership to both internal staff and external contractors
- Responsible for ensuring the installation contractor delivers a competent organization and a high standard of resources to successfully execute the work
- Responsible for managing contractor project execution performance and scope delivery
- Manage the plan and facilities for in-country mobilization
- Co-ordinate team integration and team alignment across the delivery groups
- Manage the offshore integrated schedule and find synergies across delivery groups
- Manage and direct project engineers under his team
- Manage all the DSV activity
Qualifications:
- Offshore Engineering degree (Bachelor of Science)
Essential Experience and Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience of engineering management involving subsea architecture
- Proven capability of building and leading successful teams
- Experience with design safety of offshore installations
- Exhibits understanding of construction practices and the latest international standards that assure integrity of build and construction quality
- Proactively demonstrates sophisticated decision-making and leadership skills needed to address complex stakeholder groups and issues associated with Major Projects
- A high level of proven communication, interpersonal and people management skills
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Self-motivated.
- Computer literate
