In April 2021, oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 594 thousand bpd versus 592.1 thousand bpd in March.
According to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, in April the daily production of oil with condensate amounted to 698 thousand barrels, of which 594 thousand barrels fell on oil production, and 104 thousand barrels of condensate.
For April 2021, Azerbaijan’s oil production quota was 595,000 bpd. Thus, Azerbaijan fulfilled its obligations on oil production within the framework of the OPEC + deal in April by 100.2%.

We see from the table that compared with January, in April the average daily volumes of condensate production decreased by 55 thousand barrels or 34.6%.
The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, and the main producer of this raw material – BP-Azerbaijan (within the framework of the Shah Deniz-1 and Shah Deniz-2 projects) did not give any information why this happened.
