In July of this year, Turkey imported 1.093 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas from Azerbaijan.
According to a report from the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), this is 21.5% more than the same period last year.
Azerbaijan again took first place in Turkey’s total gas imports.
The next places are occupied by Russia (843 mcm) and Iran (664 mcm). Compared to last year, the volume of natural gas imports from Russia decreased by 28.4%, and from Iran increased by 9.5%.
Recall that in July this year, Turkey imported a total of 2.601 bcm of gas.
