Service Provision to coordination and deliver the process of construction and commissioning, whilst supporting the smooth running and delivery of discipline

Any Personnel provided by your organisation to deliver this service should be able to:
• Impart knowledge of, client, industry and international specifications and standards ensuring these are complied with in the service provision.
• Oversee the technical content and quality of work produced for Construction department, including compliance with IRATA ICOP requirements and maintenance of all associated records
• Oversee and coordinate construction input to support delivery and to ensure design integrity and consistency, and effective support of discipline and project teams
• Identify and resolve any issue delaying design delivery / related procurement, irrespective of group / disciplines involved. Key aspect is to positively drive cross-discipline delivery and remove any blockers, assess dependencies between disciplines and ensure the correct sequence of workflow to provide optimal delivery and negate rework
• Ensure specialist third-party input is identified and planned for execution at the correct time
• Oversee delivery of cost effective construction solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the Client.
• Input to tender packages as required
• Provide technical authority input for department, as required
• Manage deliverables in accordance with agreed schedules and priorities
• Convene periodic production meetings
• Input to resources requirements
• Input to safe and structured delivery of personnel plan
• Oversee labour, plant, equipment and vendors
Provide input on right-sizing of construction team and drive to utilisation of most cost effective resource where appropriate in delivering the work
• Input on the review of competence of construction personnel within the department when requested.
• Ensure construction operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and timely manner
• Where applicable, ensure that Finance Department are notified of all work which can be billed, as required
Provide specialist input to company procedures and policies, and effective development and improvement of those owned by the construction function
• Impart knowledge on the most up to date technical developments, client, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the position
• Adhere to the company integrated management system
• Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
• Adhere to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systems
