Ramil Aliyev, General Director of “Ekol Engineering Services” CJSC (SOCAR’s enterprise for ecology), has been relieved of his post.
The management of the company was temporarily entrusted to Rashad Mustafayev.
Prior to that, he was Deputy General Director of Southern Gas Corridor CJSC, and at “Ekol Engineering Services” he was appointed Deputy General Director.
“Ekol Engineering Services” was established by the State Oil Company (SOCAR – 51%) and the foreign investor Lancer Services S.A. (49%) in March 2006. The authorized capital of the company is 4,072 million manats. The main objective of the company is to protect the environment through the use of modern technologies.
The company provides environmentally oriented services, such as environmental impact assessment and expertise of enterprises, development of environmental technical and regulatory documents. The company is also engaged in the treatment of industrial waste, economic-fecal and wastewater, neutralization of oil sludge, reclamation and rehabilitation of contaminated land, elimination of consequences caused by anthropogenic impact.
