A meeting with the vice-presidents of the company, who were dismissed on July 19 by the relevant orders of the President of Azerbaijan, took place yesterday, at the headquarters of SOCAR
Former vice-presidents of SOCAR B. Huseynov, D. Mamedov, M. Ismayilov and T. Gahramanov were awarded the “Honorary Oilman” badge.
Speaking at the meeting, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev noted that the difficult and glorious path that we have passed coincides with the period of economic development and prosperity of Azerbaijan.
“Over the past 15 years, President Ilham Aliyev has shown great trust in each of us and has set high goals for us. Under the leadership of our President, we have achieved these goals. We should be grateful to Mr. President for giving us the opportunity to participate in the development of our company and our country.”
In turn, SOCAR First Vice President Khoshbaht Yusifzade and other SOCAR leaders, including employees who left the company, thanked the president for the high level of trust and stated that they would continue to work to develop the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan.
