According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, in the first seven months of 2020, motor gasoline and diesel fuel were sold through retail sales for a total of 1 billion 151.9 million manats ($ 677.5 million).
According to the ministry, compared to the same period last year, revenues from sales of gasoline and diesel fuel decreased by 0.3%.
In the total volume of retail trade in Azerbaijan in January-July 2020, income from sales of motor fuel amounted to only 5.4%.
It should be noted that in 2019, in the structure of retail trade turnover, income from sales of motor fuel amounted to 5.9% or 2 billion 310.5 million manats (an increase of 2.7%).
