From 2016 to today, more than 710 thousand tons of methanol have been produced at the SOCAR Methanol plant.
According to SOCAR, it is planned to produce 350 thousand tons of methanol at the SOCAR Methanol plant by the end of the year.
The company notes that in 2018, about 230 thousand tons were produced and, according to forecasts, these figures will grow every year. The plant’s capacity is 650 thousand tons of products per year.
