In 2007-2017 SOCAR completed drilling operations in the amount of 1.6 million meters, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said.
“In 2007-2017, the volume of drilling operations performed by SOCAR amounted to 1.6 million meters, while 70 thousand meters were spent on exploratory drilling, and 1.53 million meters – on operational drilling,” the company said.
According to SOCAR, 953 wells were drilled in Azerbaijan during this period, including 926 operational wells and 27 exploratory wells.
