The head of the Ministry of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak told the media what issues he will discuss with US Energy Secretary Rick Perry on June 26.
“We will meet at the gas conference in the framework of the APEC summit. We will also discuss the situation in the gas industry, on world markets. We will have an opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation issues,” Novak said.
On Friday, the Wall Street Journal quoted sources as saying that Perry and Novak will meet in Washington on Tuesday. The topics of the meeting were not specified.
It was also reported that on the same date, the meeting of Novak and Vice-President of the European Commission (EC) for the energy union, Maros Sefcovic, is scheduled.
