The National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has planned to launch 1,000 kilometers of gas distribution pipeline by the end of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.
An official with the Gas Engineering and Development Company said on Tuesday that his company, a subsidiary of the NIGC, built 1,000 kilometers of gas pipelines in the previous calendar year in the country and will prepared more than that this calendar year.
Mohsen Farsibaf told a conference on his company’s performance over the previous calendar year that it rendered 17 projects to the NIGC during the year.
He also said the company is planning to build 1,000 kilometers of pipeline and pressure stations during the New Year.
Moreover, the official added, the company will complete 4 South Pars refineries and 11 gas pressure stations during this year.
