The project Southern Gas Corridor, as planned, will start in the summer of this year, while the filling of the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) with natural gas in Turkey has already begun a few days ago.
This was said by Vitaliy Beglyarbekov, Deputy Vice President for Investments and Marketing of the Azerbaijani SOCAR, during his speech at the European Gas Conference in Vienna.
“We are proud to say that the South Gas Corridor (SGC) will be opened in 2018, and in summer the gas will flow through it first to Turkey and then to Europe in 2020,” said Beglyarbekov.
