According to the results of 11 months, gas production in Kazakhstan amounted to 174.8 billion tenge (+ 10% per year) in monetary terms, and 48.4 bcm in terms of volumes (+ 15% against the same period a year earlier).
It is noteworthy that the production volumes over the 11 months surpassed the final figures of 2016 (46.7 bcm of gas was produced for the whole last year – 2.6% more than in 2015), Energy Prom reports.
The leader in terms of volumes is the Atyrau region – 18.9 bcm, + 33.7% per year at once. In the region there are such giants as, for example, Tengizchevroil, North Caspian Operating Company, etc.
ZKO previously leading in the sector lost a little: 18.6 bcm, + 7.4% per year. Among the largest enterprises in the region is, for example, the giant Karachaganak Petroleum Operating.
