In Kazakhstan, in the conditions of fuel shortage, a temporary jump in prices for A-92 gasoline is possible – up to 165 tenge per liter, said Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Dzhaksaliyev, speaking in parliament.
Currently, the prices for gasoline AI-92 at the gas stations of Kazakhstan fluctuate within 157-159 tenge per litre. Thus, gasoline of this brand can rise in price by 4-5%.
“To date, in order to stabilize the supply of gasoline to the market, KazMunayGaz has bought the necessary quantity in the Russian market, and it’s clear that the prices there are much higher than in Kazakhstan, and KazMunayGaz incurs high costs. These costs are not fully covered,” the Deputy Minister said.
