Azerbaijan exported 1,096.49 mcm of gas to Turkey in January-February 2017 within the framework of the Shah Deniz-1 project.
According to the Energy Market Regulatory Council of Turkey (EPDK), this indicator is 4.9% lower than the same period of 2016.
In February this year, the export of Azerbaijani gas to Turkey amounted to 506.14 mcm (in January this year, the volume of exports amounted to 590.35 mcm). At the same time, in the total volume of gas supplies to Turkey in February, the share of Azerbaijani gas accounted for 9.64%. In general, during the reporting period, gas imports to Turkey amounted to 5,252.73 mcm (an increase of 32.51%).
According to the EPDK, in 2016, Azerbaijani gas supplies to Turkey amounted to 6,479.87 mcm.
