SOCAR has put into operation a new stationary platform No. 620A at the offshore field Neft Dashlari (Oil Rocks), the company’s website reports.
The platform project was developed by the scientific-design institute of SOCAR. The general contractor of the construction work was the trust Neftgaztikinti.
The platform is installed at a sea depth of 27 meters and is designed to drill 8 wells. The total area of the facility is 2,052 sq. m., and the weight is 2,398 tons.
The platform consists of 7 support blocks, 6 separation sections, one helicopter and 10 berthing and landing areas.
Daily production from each well on the platform will be 10 tons of oil and 1,000 cubic meters of gas.
* The deposit Neft Dashlary has been developed since 1952. By the end of 2016 almost 1 million tons of oil was extracted from the field.
