During 9 months 2014 SOCAR increased oil production

From January to September 2014 State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has extracted 6.3 million tons of oil on onshore and offshore fields of the country against 6.24 million tons during the same period in 2013, reported SOCAR.
This volume includes both production by Azneft (SOCAR’s production company) and a joint production by SOCAR and foreign companies operating in Azerbaijan.
In 2013 SOCAR extracted over 8.31 million tons of oil against 8.24 million tons in 2012.
According to SOCAR, from January to September Azerbaijan extracted only 32.53 million tons of oil against 32.84 million tons during the same period last year.
