President LUKoil Overseas Andrei Kuzyayev has left his position, a source from the company told ITAR-TACC. Kuzyayev will be replaced by Senior Vice President of the company Sergei Nikiforov.
The same source said that Kuzyayev will continue working in LUKoil group. “LUKoil Overseas key project – Western Kurna-2 – has been launched,” he added.
Kuzyayev occupied position of President of LUKoil Overseas for 14 years and since 2005 he was LUKoil Vice President simultaneously. Before working in LUKoil Overseas, Kuzyayev was head of LUKoil Perm closed-type joint stock company (JSC) for eight years.
Nikiforov has been occupying the position Senior Vice President for Development and Production in LUKoil Overseas since 2008. Prior to that he worked as LUKoil Overseas Director in Egypt, since 2006 he was General Director of LUKoil-Uzbekistan operation company and since 2007 he was simultaneously head of the Tashkent-based office of LUKoil Overseas.
