Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned the foreign companies that have left the Russian market, because of the sanctions, about difficulty of returning.
“Our traditional suppliers should know that when the companies strengthen their positions at the market, it will be difficult or even almost impossible for them to come back to the same market, if they leave,” President said in his interview to First Channel.
Putin said that Russia’s reaction to the actions of the West is “inevitable.” “One should bear in mind that Russia cannot stay indifferent to firing people almost point-blank. And corresponding reaction is, naturally, inevitable,” he added.
In a response of the EU and US sanctions , on August 7, 2014 Russia introduced a full ban on supplies of beef, pork, fruit and vegetables, poultry, cheese and dairy from EU, USA, Australia, Canada and Norway for a period of one year. Russia is going to replace delivery of agricultural products by the products from Latina America and Asia.
Putin is confident that the European business is disappointed with the politics of its countries.
