Ukraine promised not to block transit of Russian energy resources to Europe, Mikulash Rakovski, representative of Ukrtransnafta in Central Europe, made a statement in Bratislava.
Rakovski claimed that Alexander Lazorko, chairman of Board of the company, shares this position.
Head of the Ukrainian government Arsenii Yatsenyuk said that transit could be stopped as a retaliation measure against the sanctions that Russia is going to introduce against Ukraine. “I mean all the sanctions, including termination of all types of transit, such as flights and energy resources,” Yatsenyuk said in Kiev.
Premier has made a statement against the background of another economic dispute between the two countries.
