This autumn Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan, it was announced after the meeting between Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov and Turkmenistan Foreign Minister, deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, in Astana.
“The main subject of the meeting is preparation for the visit of Kazakhstan President to Turkmenistan this fall, which is a result of a successful visit of Turkmenistan President to Kazakhstan last year,” said Idrisov.
At the meeting it is planned to discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation, for instance, development of economic, transport and regional cooperation as well as international and regional issues, said Kazakhstan Foreign Minister.
“The forthcoming visit will open a new page in the relationships between our countries,” Idrisov said.
“The main goal of my visit is tro prepare for the visit of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Turkmenistan this autumn,” Meredov added.
At the meeting in Astana Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have signed the plan of cooperation for 2015-20916.
