Iran plans to start manufacture of strategic equipment for the oil industry, said Roknoddin Javadi, General Director of the National Oil Company of Iran.
He also mentioned that this year the Oil Ministry of Iran pays a special attention to development of manufacture of equipment for the oil industry. It has worked out the plan to start manufacture of 10 strategic items at the Iranian enterprises in the coming three years, reported www.iran.ru.
Roknoddin Javadi said that the decision is not aimed at satisfying the current requirements of the oil industry, but for the future. Head of the Iranian National Oil Company said that in order to implement the program, the Ministry needs to work out a clear-cut plan considering the available potential and demands and then start looking for the companies and enterprises possessing sufficient scientific and technical possibilities.
