From January to June 2014 2,962,000,000 AZN has been invested into the Azerbaijan oil industry.
According to the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee, investments into the oil industry increased by 31.4% against 6 months, 2013 (in comparative prices).
During 2013 over 4.82 billion AZN has been invested into the Azerbaijan oil industry, up 24.2% against 2012.
Growth of investments into the oil industry is connected with launching of the Shah-Deniz-2 project as well as wide-scale drilling works of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) on the offshore fields.
