| • Estimates projects and prepare proposals. • Assures technical accuracy and quality of all work performed in the electrical department • Assigns personnel to projects with the capabilities required to successfully complete the assigned tasks • Provides planning so that current and future manpower requirements are met. Interviews and hires staff as needed. Performs employee evaluations • Develops design standards • Reviews calculation methods to assure that they comply with all current regulatory and project requirements • Establishes uniform quality standards • Accurately performs and/or checks electrical design calculations for electrical loads, short circuit and device coordination studies, voltage drop, etc. using standard electrical engineering software in accordance with applicable codes • Prepares, reviews, and/or interprets drawings, specifications and vendor submittals • Interfaces with various clients as the Lead Engineer. Responds to client questions and comments. Monitor and resolve client issues |
| Essential Qualification and Experience Level / Diploma: University degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Experience : 10 years in Oil & Gas upstream facilities with relevant experiences in a commissioning role. In-depth knowledge of : Cable Sizing (Voltage Drop at Nominal/Starting Status, Short Circuit Current) Base no IEC 60364-5-52 for De-Rating Factors & Conductors Current ,Lightning Protection System (Rolling Sphere Method, Protective Angle Method, Mesh Method & Faraday Cage) Base on IEC 62305-3 , Earthing Protection System Base on IEC 61000-5-2 & TS 613612-2 & Earthing Sizing Base on IEEE 80 , Hazardous Area Classification Base on API RP 505 & IEC 60079 , Communication System (Telephone, Intercom & Paging for Internal/External/ Hazardous Area) , Power/Distribution Transformer & Motor Sizing Base on Project’s Electrical Consumer list and Site Condition Other required Competencies: Interface with Company Disciplines ,contractors/subcontractors, leadership. Electrical Safety group 5 certification according to Azerbaijan legislation, Fluent in English language, Valid BOSIET and medical certificate for onshore work.
