Title: Sr. Shift Supervisor

JOB DUTIES
- Support implementation of HSE policies and direct team on right behave;
- Implement safety techniques in accordance with international practice;
- Support and drive correct implementation of SOP;
- Review and updated if required site specific instructions and SOP;
- Support, train and coach local shift supervisors;
- Train and coach shift personnel on Spheripol / Innovene S technology;
- Support implementation of operation and safety training matrix;
- Support implementation of Control of Work process on site, train responsible person on correct way of use system, identification risks and hazards, implementation controls and mitigations;
- Responsible for implementation of stock level of the required consumables, chemicals;
- Act as SPA for critical activities at site and direct shift personnel on correct implementation of the program;
- Support implementation of preparation and handover of equipment to maintenance for repair, inspection and replacement if required;
- Support and implement effective way of optimization of process and plant effective operation; track quality product; implement cost effective production;
- Support in activities effective preparation for maintenance of equipment;
- Identify potential issues on plant, report and develop action plan to overcome issue;
- Oversee overall plant performance and possibility for improvements;
- Maintain good housekeeping and promote this way of working;
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry
- Management in chemical manufacturing plant or oil and gas producing facility or onshore gas/oil processing plant
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English
- Fluent in Russian (advantage)
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, safety procedures, regulatory rules, particularly in application of Permit to Work system;
- Understanding and working knowledge of manufacturing techniques;
- Advanced knowledge of process equipment operation and maintenance;
- Advance knowledge on petrochemical processing;
- Advanced knowledge on:
- production technology, flow diagrams of the polypropylene production plant, process regulations;
- purpose, device, principle of operation and location of equipment, communications;
- rules and norms of labor protection and industrial safety;
- possible hazards in the production activities of the polypropylene production unit;
- environmental aspects of a polypropylene production unit;
- fundamentals of economics, organization of production and management;
- Ability to perform a variety of duties and multi-tasking;
- Ability to train and coach;
- Ability to make judgments and decisions;
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter;
- Ability to be made responsible and take accountability;
- Provide input to budgets;
