Commissioning Engineer
About The Role
PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join our progressive Construction team based in Baku on a long-term, full-time staff contract basis. The role is required to carry out commissioning activities and to ensure that all systems are installed in accordance with the approved project designs and specifications and ensure workscopes are carried out on time.
Duties:
- Carry out day to day on-site commissioning activities for assigned projects
- Produce regular project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports on assigned projects
- Ensure Commissioning is carried out safely in accordance with regulations and procedures
- Ensure all necessary Commissioning documentation is produced in a timely manner and co-operate with Technical Documentation teams to ensure timely delivery of O & M manuals
- Obtain buy-in to proposed commissioning plan revisions
- Achieve fast and effective handovers including the timely delivery of all commissioning documentation, training, etc.)
- Attend / co-ordinate tri-party system walk downs
- Attend off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities by suppliers or others
- Co-operate with tight change control procedures on assigned projects
- Ensure commissioning punchlist is compiled and correct actions are assigned to appropriate person
- Help to capture, communicate and apply best practice and knowledge sharing as directed
- Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
- Adherence to the company integrated management system
- Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
About You
The successful candidate would ideally have proven experience in a similar role with flowline experience preferred. Site experience in commissioning procedure and certification is essential for this role. Please note only Azerbaijani nationals can be considered for this position.
