Position: Assembly & Testing Supervisor
Minimum of 10 years osnhore assembly & testing experience of major subsea equipment (XT and manifolds).
Preferably time served or technical apprenticeship; Minumum of secondary education
Assembly & Testing Supervisor:
• Primarily, the upcoming period of 2-3 years will contain major challenges with the SD2 scope related to remediation of 718 bolting materials on 5 off XT’s – these will require completed strip of the XT frame, renoval of major components, changeout of affected studs & gaskets, refititng of major compoments, rebuild of XT assy prior to FAT level testing and re-integration of controls system.
Primary lead for major extra-ordinary XT refurbishment scope related to unextepected technical issues encountered with 718 material used for bolting XT flowline.
Liaise with key sub-contractors to ensure work is carried out in oine with supporting procedures, safety and quality requirements.
Incumbent will also be supporting and mentoring Azeri Field Service Team on major refurbishment of subsea XT’s. His position he will report to the Project Operations Manager based in the Baku plant.
Essential skills:
10 years experience in a shore based or workshop role biased towards mechanical fitting, instrumentation/pipe fitting and hydraulic testing of subsea XT’s
Working knowledge of subsea product use and limitations.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
Problem solving ability.
Leadership skills to include ability to motivate colleagues & team members.
PC skills to include, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & SAP knowledge preferable.
Have good foresight, initiative & ability to take accountability for their own actions and the team they are supervising.
Industry safety awareness and leadership skills
Desirable skills:
